Your Privacy Rights Under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act

If you are a New Jersey resident, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act (NJDPA), which took effect January 15, 2025. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to submit an opt-out request.

Our Actual Practice

Coastal Leads Group does not sell personal information.

Homeowner contact information is shared with a single matched contractor only, for the limited purpose of facilitating a service introduction between a homeowner and a local contractor in their trade and geography. That contractor is the only third party who receives your information. Your contact details are never transferred to advertisers, data brokers, marketing platforms, or any other third party for any purpose.

Once a homeowner responds to an outreach email or submits a form on this website, their information is handled as follows:

Their contact details are forwarded to one contractor only. No other contractor, company, or individual receives that information. Their email address is added to our suppression list and they will not receive further outreach from any CLG campaign. Their information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the service and meet our recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted per our internal Data Handling Policy.

How to Submit an Opt-Out Request

To request that your personal information not be sold or shared, or to request that your information be removed from our systems entirely, complete the form below or email us directly at privacy@coastalleadsgroup.com with the subject line: Privacy Opt-Out Request.

Please include your full name and the email address at which you received our outreach so we can locate and suppress your record accurately.

We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days and complete the opt-out within 45 days as required by the NJDPA. You will receive a written confirmation when the request has been fulfilled.
